NCOPM National President

In 1988, Clinton Ford Billups Jr. was elected to membership in the National Conference of Personal Managers (NCOPM) and has served as the NCOPM National President since 2002.

During his 35-year career as a personal manager, Mr. Billups has guided the careers of celebrity media personalities and variety artists, including, Alain Nu — star of the TLC mini-series "The Mysterious World of Alain Nu," The Amazing Kreskin — the world's foremost mentalist, April Brucker — actress, author comedienne and TV personality, Steve Kruschen — network TV's Mr. Gadget®, Ross Shafer — host of ABC's "Match Game" and FOX's "The Late Show," plus other nationally known celebrities, entertainers and media personalities.

Twice honored by the International Film and Television Festival, his credits as a television producer include "American Campus Tour" starring Emmy award winner Jayne Kennedy, "Kreskin's Quest" starring The Amazing Kreskin, "Tailgating' with The Clever Cleaver Brothers" and "April in Vegas," a streaming chat show currently produced on location at The English Hotel in the Las Vegas Arts District.

As a live event producer in Las Vegas, he has produced numerous award shows, conferences, concerts, stage productions, trade shows and other special events. He is the founder and former executive producer of the Casino Entertainment Awards, the official awards honoring outstanding casino artists, executives and venues nationwide, and was the executive producer of Oscar Night® Las Vegas, an annual celebration of the Academy Awards®, which was officially sanctioned by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

For more than a decade, Mr. Billups served as Director of Entertainment Industry Relations for G2E, the Global Gaming Expo, the world’s largest annual gathering of casino entertainment executives and also served on the American Gaming Association G2E Conference Advisory Board.

Mr. Billups is also an expert consultant and witness on trade custom, usage and practices for arbitration and litigation related to entertainment, media and the performing arts.
